Department of Hindi
The Department of Hindi, Deva Matha College,Kuravilangad, as old as the college itself started in 1964. It started with Prof. K. R. Ramakrishna Pillai as the only faculty member of the Department. Prof. C. P. Kurian joined the Department in 1965, Prof. C. A. Augusthy in 1969 and Prof. Mary Jacob in 1981. Prof. C. P. Kurian retired in 1986 and Smt. Rocily N. Joseph joined the Department. Prof. K. R. Ramakrishna Pillai, Prof. C. A. Augusthy and Prof. Mary Jacob served as HODs for various periods. The Department has two completed UGC assisted Minor Projects to its credit.
