Fee Rules

a). Tuition fee for an year will be collected in one time at the beginning of each academic year from all students. (See Fee Chart)
b). Fine for belated payment of tuition fees- within 10 days from due date : Rs 5/- After 10 days Rs. 10/- If the fees and fines of an installment are not paid before the last opporutnity given for payment of that installment the name of the student will be removed form the rolls of the College with effect from the date following the expiry of this period and if the student is re-admitted, he/she will get the benefit of attendance only from the date of re-admission. The last opportunity for payment of an installment of fees is defined as the last working day previous to the due date of the succeeding installment. 
c). The names of defaulters of an installment will be published on the notice board immediately after the expiry of the last opportunity fixed for payment of the installments.
d). Students who are admitted for a term, so that they may make up shortage of attendance for the course which they were undergoing, should pay one third of the tuition fee for the year together with full special fee and Caution Deposit at the time of admission.  Only such of those former students of the respective colleges should be admitted as term students.
e). In the case of casual students (undergoing one year’s course) all fees including special fees and Caution Deposit due for the whole year will be collected at the time of admission.
f). Every student is liable to pay the prescribed fee for the whole term if  his/her name is on the rolls of the college for any part of the year,  provided that if a student studying in Arts and Science and Sanskrit Colleges for the Degree or Post Graduate courses after obtaining transfer certificate from the institution is admitted to the same course of study in any other similar colleges, he/she should not be called upon again to pay the fee already paid for the term in the colleges which issued T.C. But special fee and Caution Deposit will have to be paid again at the new college.  He shall produce the fee receipt at the college where he joins afresh.
g). In the case of students admitted later than the commencement of the academic year, the fee for the preceding months, if any, will be collected at the time of admission.
h). If in a particular term, a student who stands admitted in a college but did not attend any of the classes, requests permission to discontinue his/her studies in that college and takes T.C. on that accord, the refund of fee may be ordered in his/her case. The claim for refund in such cases should be preferred by the student with the Principal by submitting an application within two months from the date of leaving the college as revealed from the entries in the transfer certificate issued to the applicant.
i). Students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Communities and OEC securing admission to the college will be eligible for the admission.
j). These students will be given full fee concession on presentation of necessary community and income certificates from the Tahsildar concerned.
k). All scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, OEC, OBC and KPCR students should  submit print out of application from Akshaya after the commencement of the  classes in the college.
l). Backward community students, who discontinue their studies before concessions  being sanctioned, will be required to pay all fees before their transfer certificates  are issued.
m).  Late Fee at the rate of Rs.50 (Rupees Fifty only) will be collected from the  students who obtain T.C. after one year of the completion of their course.

RULES REGARDING REFUND OF CAUTION DEPOSIT

Claims for refund of Caution Deposit should be made immediately after the closing date of the college and before the opening date of the next academic year. Immediately after the expiry of the above period the name of the student who failed to claim the caution deposit will be published in the Kerala Government Gazette and if he/ she is not claiming the refund of caution deposit within a period of two calendar months from the date of publication of the notification of the Principal in the Gazette, the whole amount due to the student will be permanently forfeited and the same will be remittedto the Government revenue.

N.B:- The student should keep in safe custody the receipt issued for remittance of caution deposit. The caution deposit amount will be refunded only if the Caution deposit receipt is produced along with the application for refund of Caution deposit.
